To mark this exciting new era for Hickstead, we have released this video from Equine Productions Ltd., which showcases the rich history of the class and shows some of the most iconic moments in the Derby's 57-year history.
The film features Hickstead Derby winners William Funnell, Trevor Breen and William Whitaker, who explain why winning the class was so important to them, and reveal what it takes to win the Derby.
